8. Myotis lucifugus is the small brown bat, the back of its skull is smooth and rounded, and the first upper premolar is TINY. Eptesicus fuscus is the big brown bat, the back of its skull has a pointier crest in the occipital region, and the first upper premolar is the same size as the rest of the cheek teeth. Plus, it is bigger.
